WITT Bachelor of Applied Management and Graduate Diploma in Applied Management students are seeking organisations to host them for a work placement where they can undertake a project looking at a business issue, problem or opportunity.
The project needs to be related to the students major. Previous examples include:
Project Management - Planning, running & reviewing an event; using MS Project to document and plan a specific project; audit compliance to a business’ project management framework and make recommendations for improvements.
Operations and Production Management - Audit the supply chain and logistics for a produce supplier and recommend improvements; review a total preventative maintenance strategy and suggest improvements.
Human Resources - Review health & safety systems for an organisation and make recommendations; review recruitment & onboarding practices for an organisation and make recommendations.
Accounting - Review procedures for collecting and recording client information on new software; analysis of accounts payable process and internal controls and make recommendations
