Congratulations to long-serving team member Nic Conley who has a new position with Te Pūkenga as Pounuku Tautuutu | Payroll and HRIS Director working in the People Culture and Wellness (PCW) Business Group.
Working nationally but based in New Plymouth, she says she is excited about being able to contribute to the network in a different way and from a national perspective as part of the PCW leadership team.
The role capitalises on her human resource management and IT skills and she will be overseeing the human resources information systems (HRIS) to help manage and automate core HR processes.
In July, Nic was due to celebrate 30 years of service at WITT Te Pūkenga. She began her long career in education in July 1993 teaching in the business and information systems degree programme and has held 10 different positions since 2002, incorporating both teaching and management roles. Most recently she was a member of the Executive Team as Executive Director, Corporate Services before her secondment to Te Pūkenga and eventual appointment to her new position.
There are not many kaimahi who haven’t worked with Nic over some stage of her career.
“Over her many years and roles at WITT Nic has been a great mentor to many kaimahi. She can see the potential in our people, recognises their ability and encourage them to realise opportunities. We are fortunate to retain her leadership in the network,” says WITT Te Pūkenga People Culture Manager and Facilities Linda Dravitski.
