WITT has partnered with Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (NMIT) in a move to make higher level study more accessible for people in the region.
This exciting partnership now means that for the first time WITT is offering a Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Management (Level 8).
The programme is focused on building expertise and capability in management relevant to a range of applied settings. Students will learn with the proven combination of practical and applied study, as well as advanced theory and work-based learning.
The programme is designed to be directly relevant to small and large private and public organisations and the self-employed.
It is strongly aligned with WITT’s role in providing work-ready graduates for Taranaki and developing and retaining skilled applied management professionals in the region.
Student enrolled in the programme will complete four compulsory courses
Students will also pick four more elective courses from an extensive list covering subjects everything from International Trade through to Educational Change Management.
These courses within the programme are industry electives or pathways designed to meet key labour market needs.
The programmes can be completed through part-time study over a maximum of six years. All courses are at NZQA Level 8 (equivalent to the first year of a Master’s programme). The postgraduate certificate requires the completion of the four compulsory courses.
