Time is running out to see the WITT Te Pūkenga sponsored Musical Chairs installation at the TSB Festival of Lights. The festival closes this weekend (22 January).

Musical chairs, located on the band rotunda, is an interactive lighting and musical feature designed by artist Simon Watts. By sitting on the different chairs, festivalgoers can create layers of sound and light and build their own mini sound and light show.

While you are at the festival don’t forget to grab some yummy festival-themed snacks from Te Waka Kai, our travelling food caravan that gives our ākonga valuable real-life work experience.

Te Waka Kai is also part of the upcoming Feastival event. Make sure you get tickets to our collaboration with the Govett-Brewster/Len Lye Centre on Saturday 18 February. Enjoy a film-matched tasting plate from Te Waka Kai for you to enjoy during the film. Or if high tea and cocktails are more your scene make sure you get a ticket to our elegant alfresco high tea featuring the best locally produced food matched with a light, refreshing summer cocktail inspired by the region. The high tea will be served in the leafy courtyard of Impressions Restaurant and also takes place on Saturday 18 February.
