“We frequently get calls from employers looking for short-term, temporary or part-time workers which would be ideal for our students and having an automated system makes it easier for both parties,” says Careers Advisor Nikki Truman.
To list a job go to the job board and on the top right of the screen and enter the details about the role. There is a place to put a picture or logo here to help draw attention to the post, but this is not an essential field.
Not every field needs information, but the more detail you add the better.
Once you click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of this page, it comes to an inbox for approval, so don’t expect your entry to go live immediately.
You can enter as many jobs as you want and you can re-post them again if required (job listings expire after a month).
Students can view these jobs on their computers and via their phones using the MyWITT student app.
“Introduced just before Christmas the job board has been well received and with the new semester kicking off in March and an influx of international students keen to work we expect interest to ramp up,” adds Nikki.
