As WITT merges to Te Pūkenga there are many parts of a very complex puzzle that have to be put together, from finer details such as what 0800 numbers will be used all the way up to consistent strategies and vision.
The Te Pūkenga People, Culture and Wellbeing Strategy aims to bring together the collective functions that shape and guide leadership capability and organisational culture. Weaving together the efforts of kaimahi to full the success of the Te Pūkenga vision.
The strategy is aimed to set out the core function of human resource management delivery, recruitment and onboarding, talent management, wellbeing and safety.
Nic Conley Executive Director of Corporate Services, began on secondment to Te Pūkenga four weeks ago as the People and Culture Senior Project Manager. She was pleased that Te Pūkenga were giving kaimahi an opportunity to share their voice.
“The roadshow is very important. It provides kaimahi with the opportunity to engage with the development of a strategy that will support them as we transition to Te Pūkenga in 2023,” she said.
“Our people, culture and wellbeing are the keys to the transformed future of vocational education. There will be differences as Aotearoa moves into this new model but our kaimahi and ākonga will always be at the centre of Te Pukenga and what it does,”
