New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3)

Get relevant knowledge and skills that can be applied to a range of infrastructure works processes. This is the cornerstone qualification if you want to move into an infrastructure career pathway. Graduates of this qualification are able to carry out infrastructure works operations safely and to a quality standard in a variety of infrastructure work contexts.

This programme can be studied part-time while you work and full time. 

Full time option

  • Programme is delivered at WITT/Infrastructure park 
  • Students to provide own steel cap work boots - all other gear provided. 
  • Classes: Wednesday - Friday (9am -  4pm)

Part-time option (while you work)

  • Programme is delivered in various locations throughout New Zealand 
  • Block courses and self directed learning.

Entry Requirements

Full time - Either completed the NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 2, or have had previous experience in civil infrastructure industry

Part time - Applicants must be working in the civil infrastructure works industry.

Career Options

Operators in a broad range of sectors such as Civil Works, Surfacing and Underground Utilities.

Further Study Options

This qualification provides a pathway to higher level study within the civil infrastructure and highway engineering industry.
